Hi :) I am staying with the 3.3.1 for quite a while on most machines.
However, note that 1 download can be burned to Dvd/Cd and then passed around or perhaps even sold under the GPL licence, even to make a reasonable profit. There are proposals for logos and things that could be printed on the surface but some may need translating. Even if you don't sell many it might be possible to re-coup some of the costs of the download? Good luck and regards from Tom :) ________________________________ From: planas <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Tue, 19 April, 2011 14:26:49 Subject: Re: [libreoffice-users] LibreOffice Update Mechanism On Tue, 2011-04-19 at 17:25 +0700, Arief Bayu Purwanto wrote: > Hi Guys, > > Greeting from Indonesia. > > I read somewhere (sorry, forgot the URL) that LibreOffice is having update > planned in regular basis. > I see that on download page[1] there's only release files with file size > > 200MB. > > My question is, is there any plan to add update release in patch or > something else that's smaller in size? > So, if I've installed 3.3.2 and there's release for 3.3.3, you will release > 2 files: one for regular file (the BIG one) and another one for patch file > from 3.3.2 to 3.3.3. It is in beta testing currently. I am not sure of the planned release date. As to an update I to go from 3.3.x to 3.4, I have no information. What is your OS, many Linux distributions have switched their default office suite to LO from OOo. -- Jay Lozier [email protected] -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted -- Unsubscribe instructions: E-mail to [email protected] Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://listarchives.libreoffice.org/www/users/ All messages sent to this list will be publicly archived and cannot be deleted
