That error message points to the use of a field type as the index field that LibreOffice doesn't accept. This may also be why your table structure defaults to read only. For example, do you have multiple fields as a single index ? If so, are they of different types (eg. a combination of CHAR and INT) ? Or, do you have a FK relationship that points to multiple or combined indices (I don't think LibO Base can handle these) ? FWIW, from what I have read elsewhere, you can not alter the structure of an existing table in an Access MDB via LibreOffice.
