Thanks for the response Sean. When using Flash Builder, you can either debug the application by clicking on the little bug, or just run it by clicking on the play head. I always wondered if when you just play the app, if you are still running it under some silent debugging version of AIR. If you are right, which I am guessing you are, then this really helps with the biggest chunk of my speed issue problems. I appreciate your input.
