GitHub user KreVet-Ka closed a discussion: Error when adding a public IP in an isolated network without Source NAT (using Static NAT)
I’m trying to create an Isolated network without Source NAT and use only Static NAT for VMs. However, when attempting to acquire a public IP, I get the following error: ``` Failed to acquire IP. In zone of type Advanced ip address can be associated only to the network of guest type Isolated with the SourceNat enabled ``` Network offering settings: Maybe I'm not setting up the network offering correctly? I need an isolated network without Source NAT, because when Source NAT is enabled, its public IP address is effectively idle and not actually used. Is it possible to create an isolated network without Source NAT, while still using Static NAT? versions ACS: 4.20.2.0 Hypervisor: KVM GitHub link: https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/discussions/13052 ---- This is an automatically sent email for [email protected].
