Hi all, The last 4.20 LTS [1] release (4.20.2.0) was published on 27th October. Currently, the 4.20.3 milestone contains 31 open PRs, 15 merged PRs [2] and 98 open issues [3].
I would like to propose a code freeze for 4.20.3.0 on 15 February 2026. This gives us roughly eight weeks to work on the pending Issues and PRs in 4.20.3, with a target to complete the release by the end of February. Proposed timeline: * Until 15 February 2026: Accept bugs, issues, and improvements allowed for LTS releases. * Week following code freeze: Stabilization period for the 4.20.3 branch. Only critical or blocker issues will be accepted during this phase. * Last week of February: Cut 4.20.3.0 RC1 (and additional RCs if needed), start and conclude the vote, and complete the release process.
