Thank you, Prashanth.

Just as an FYI, that's the exact opposite of the documentation. This is what
the documentation says:

-----
Install CloudStack XenServer Support Package (CSP)

(Optional)

To enable security groups, elastic load balancing, and elastic IP on XenServer,
download and install the CloudStack XenServer Support Package (CSP). After
installing XenServer, perform the following additional steps on each XenServer
host.
----

And then it has the directions to enable bridging

Hello ,

You need not change the backend to bridge for XCP if you are not using Security
Groups.

Thanks
Prashanth

Is it still necessary to change the xe-switch-network-backend to bridge on
XCP-NG 8.3 for CS 4.21?

I am using advanced zones, but I am not using security groups.
