Hello.

We are planning out several VMware to Xen (XCP-ng) migrations.
As Cloudstack doesn't have built-in tool for VMware -> Xen, in our lab env we
tested out Xen Orchestra migration tools.
That went all and great, machine starts up in Xen Orchestra, but we need to
provide the tenant access to their VMs as well post-migration.

Looking at an issue from few years ago ( [
https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/issues/4658 |
https://github.com/apache/cloudstack/issues/4658 ] ) following quote is said:
"For other hypervisors, the only way is to do a cold import, shortly - shutdown
the VM, import the VM disk(s) as template and deploy VMs using that."
Is there a way to import the VM disk(s) as template without exporting the said
machine and re-uploading?
The VM files are on primary storage (fiber channel storage).

Any recommendations or ideas on how to proceed without larger downtime from
here?

Lugupidamisega / Best regards,
