Hi, thank you very much for this workaround! Does it make sense to open a request to implement this kind of migration/scaling for a live vm? My use-case would be to offer our users 2 types of instances on 2 different kind of server types. As far as I know this is quite common.

It is also not possible to migrate directly to a compute offering that has distinct host tags. However, with the VM stopped, there is a workaround that involves initially changing the VM to a compute offering without any tags and subsequently changing it to the desired offering.
