Hi Dag, I updated the documentation on the Ceph site a couple months ago ( https://github.com/ceph/ceph/pull/21050). I updated the Primary Storage section as well as outdated Disk Offering links (These should reflect 4.11/master specs).
We use KVM/CloudStack with Ceph storage. We're still running ACS 4.9.3 with minimal issues (some of our idiosyncrasies are related to Ceph). I can say, from my experiences, CloudStack/KVM interfaces fairly well with Ceph (we use Luminous).
