We installed this patch and tested in our environment. I would say the VM snapshot works as expected, but it restricts volume related actions. We can no longer add volumes and take 'volume snapshot'.
I personally chat with author WeiZhou, it's said it's due to QCOW2 limitation. We can sacrifice the 'volume snapshot' for this 'VM snapshot', but it's too bad we can not even add volume unless you delete the VM snapshot taken. Can anyone look into it for improvement ?
