ACS 4.5.1 (upgraded from 4.4.0), XenServer 6.2, NFS primary and secondary
Hi All,
I am seeing all these template and snapshot SRs on my Xenserver hosts on
one of my deployments (but not on the other deployment) and am wondering if
this is normal. This has been like this for a while and is causing
problems with my users being able to create templates from existing
machines.
As you can see below, some of these have VDIs associated with them and
others don't. I have tried to unplug the PBDs for SRs that don't have any
VDIs on them but the remaining ones claimed they were in use and I was not
able to. The ones that did have VDIs, I looked at those and the VBDs for
them are attached to the host control domain vm. It is doing this via the
secondary storage network mount. Should I try to force unplug those? Why
does the host control domain need access to these templates and snapshots?
I thought all access to templates and such was through the system vms.
This sr list is only from one of my hosts. Every host in this deployment
has a handful of these:
