Hi Giles, Not quite South Africa but close. I am in Botswana, Gaborone, about 400km from Johannesburg. Well I am just getting into CS and Xenserver. I am also building a small cloud datacenter based on cloudstack and Xenserver. My equipment is still coming in. I am also looking at providing solutions around Cloudstack.
I have quite a number of years in the IT industry, over 15. Specialising in HP storage arrays, HP Servers and blade systems, Virtualisation, Mainly VMware but also moving into OVM, KVM and Xenserver. For my datacenter I will be building my own storage servers based on Infiniband SAN and ZFS. So just keep me in mind when meet ups happen in SA. Kind regards Tommy Sosa
