Michael,

Can you share some more info about your configuration, e.g. have you enabled
the 'storage' network, have you successfully seeded the System VM Template to
Secondary Storage and are your SSVM and CPVM VMs online.

If SSVM is online, have you ran /usr/local/cloud/systemvm/ssvm-check.sh on the
SSVM and what is it reporting

Look at
https://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/display/CLOUDSTACK/SSVM,+templates,+Secondary+storage+troubleshooting
for how to troubleshoot SSVM and Secondary Storage issues.

One gotcha which is not clear is that the SSVM needs to talk to your vCenter -
can it?

Regards

Geoff Higginbottom

So I checked a couple of things and still no dice.
1. enabled nfs client on esxi servers in the security profile2. made sure dns
resolves to nfs server from esxi servers3. successfully mounted nfs datastore
from esxi servers4. enabled permissions on nfs share
