Hi Jeff,

Firstly, you also should load the kvm_intel module.

# lsmod | grep kvm
kvm_intel              54394  4
kvm                   317376  1 kvm_intel

If you use the redhat or centos. You can use the following file to make the
kvm modules auto-loading.

/etc/sysconfig/modules/kvm.modules (755)

#!/bin/sh

if [ $(grep -c vmx /proc/cpuinfo) -ne 0 ]; then
    modprobe -b kvm-intel >/dev/null 2>&1
fi

if [ $(grep -c svm /proc/cpuinfo) -ne 0 ]; then
    modprobe -b kvm-amd >/dev/null 2>&1
fi

modprobe -b vhost_net >/dev/null 2>&1

exit 0

Secondly, make sure the “/usr/libexec/qemu-kvm” is existed.
