I believe that if you are using advanced networks, you have to have a network offering with a source NAT service, so your VMs can access the internet via the public network through the domain router... I would recommend when using advance networks at least setting up the following services:
Dns, Dhcp, Source nat, Firewall Static nats and port forwarding are good when accessing your resource externally from the internet.
