Hi, This kind of issue would not be an issue with the new approach I'm preparing for Camel component (creating component uber bundle with private package): any component will be available as bundle, no need to create SMX bundles and features.
Anyway, can you please create a Jira about camel-jira OSGi support, I will fix that.
