Hi That is actually a great question, as with all the magic of camel-k and the operator, then we should make sure that you can fairly easily specify k8s services you want to expose, port mappings, and what type they are etc. The trait seems a bit limited and tied to NodePort.
You may have a camel-k route that is using tcp with netty and you want to expose that as a service using tcp protocol.
