I'm not terribly familiar with this module. It was added 10 years or so ago
and hasn't been touched (or apparently used) much since. It's hard to say
why artemis-jms-client was included originally, but the core broker has no
strict dependency on anything specific to JMS. I think both the
artemis-jms-client and artemis-jms-broker dependency could be removed.
The org.apache.activemq.artemis.osgi.OsgiBroker would need a slight update,
but I don't think removing that stuff would have any functional impact.

I don't know enough about how people use this stuff to know what changes
make sense. I've never used Apache Karaf.

I'm more than happy to work with you to get this into better shape if you
