Dear Artemis committers,

Reading
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/de-de/red_hat_amq_broker/7.11/html-single/release_notes_for_red_hat_amq_broker_7.11/index
I see "Starting with the AMQ Broker 8.0 release, the Openwire protocol will be
removed from AMQ Broker".

Does this mean, that there are plans to remove Openwire from Artemis?
If so, when to expect this (version 3.0?)?

And two more questions:
1. (maybe a no-brainer, but I'm new to Artemis and it's difficult to find an
answer to that) Are there any restrictions on ActiveMQ Classic clients
connecting via Openwire to Artemis broker (like at least specific version x
needed, version not newer than y,...)?
2. Are different versions of Artemis client and Artemis broker compatible with
each other (or are there incompatibilities in the CORE protocol like e.g. bad
idea to use new client with old broker,...)?

Thanks!

Regards
Stefan
