Greetings,

We aim to deploy AMQ “classic” or Artemis fairly soon into a cloud/Kubernetes
environment (Azure AKS initially), and I would ask for some guidance. Our
traffic is fairly low, like around 100 messages per second, but some of the
messages can be up to 1MB. The initial release will not be HA, but we want
messages to be backed by persistent storage so if the AMQ VM/pod bounces,
nothing is lost.

What guidance can you offer on the following:

  * Can AMQ be deployed in a K8S pod without trouble? Or should it be a
dedicated VM?
  * How much memory should we allocate?
  * Any advice about the storage volume?

Thanks in advance,
john
