Hi,

I did a test in which I was producing messages without consuming them on an
artemis (with paging enabled) in order to anticipate what could happen in the
worst scenario with persistent messages.

When I reach the max-disk-usage of 45% on a dedicated disk, the producers are
blocked as expected.
After a few minutes I launch my consumers but no messages are able to be
consumed.

With the same clients (using openwire) on an activemq 5 with mkahadb, I'm able
to consume and to unblock the producers in the same scenario.

The only solution seems to stop the broker and to force a "data compact" on the
journal.

It seems that this situation occurred because the delete records can't be
appended in the journal as there is no more space to create a new journal file.

Is there a solution (manual or with configuration) which would make it possible
to unblock this situation without having to stop the broker?

Regards,
Gaetan
