I don't believe there is currently a JIRA open for that. However, feel free to open one [1]. I would also encourage you to investigate submitting a fix if you're so inclined.
All that said, there are many use-cases which might traditionally use an admin object to do a JNDI lookup where alternatives exist. Would you mind elaborating on your specific use case?
