We are considering the use of ActiveMQ (hosted in JVM on z/OS) as a pub-sub engine for events emitted from the CICS Event Dispatcher. Has anyone done this? If so, can you please provide a brief description of the architecture (e.g., Is a custom EP adapter required? How did you integrate with event consumers outside the mainframe? Did you use synchronous, transactional messages in CICS? etc.)? Also, if you encountered any issues, limitations, etc. can you please share?
