Hi, we are using activemq 5.8 but were also able to reproduce this bug which is a showstopper for using activemq virtual topics. in 5.10 . There is issue when using ttl property and expired message is in the queue before being removed by expireMessagesPeriod. When this happens expired message is dispatched to the consumer and everything blocks. Tested with client libraries 5.8, 5.10....
We are left with option of using virtual topics without ttl set on messages or not using them at all as this leads to stuck queues.
