It is possible to implement IBM type of HA solution with ActiveMQ. 1. ActiveMQ MQTT has problem with same "clientid" reconnection. As per MQTT definition, same clientID should replace existing connection. When I tried MQTT client reconnection and failover, there were many challenges.
2. Problems of MQTT client getting disconnected over network of brokers. I couldn't find exact reason for it. Let me know if you find any specific problem.
