Unable to find the REST API

I’m using ActiveMQ 5.9.0.  For some reason, I was led to believe the REST API 
should be available from /api/message, but jetty just claims  it isn’t 
available.

HTTP ERROR: 404

Problem accessing /api/message. Reason:

    Not Found
Powered by Jetty://

Just curious what I’m doing wrong or what configuration I’m missing.
