What we mean is the the current axis related code in activemq-optional is deprecated and will be removed in 5.8 onwards. The ActiveMQ team has no interrest in keep maintaining this code. That code was based on Axis 1.x. You are of course free to do your own Axis 2 + AMQ integration. Its just Java code after all.
