We are looking at using Active MQ for our application's messaging needs, ur requirement primarily focuses on being able to use persisted message capability with very high volumns. We were expecting to take advantage of the Asynchronous IO feature when running on Linux.
Rob Davies indicated on a thread that this is already developed as part of release 6.0 http://java.dzone.com/articles/hornetq-stings-competition The Active MQ 6.0 release was expected in 2010, any help with respect to when this feature will get released will be of great help?
