Hi ,

I am new to ActiveMQ but not to JMS. I have worked with JMS extensively with
'application servers' like WebLogic and JBoss.

I am finding the terminology in the documentation confusing because of its
non-JMS nature. Specifically, I have a few queries :

1. What is this whole business of Connectors( is it like connectors in
Tomcat?) and Connection URI?
2. What is this JMS broker (is it same as JMS server in WebLogic?)?
3. How do I administratively (not programmatically but through some console
or XML files) set up and configure destinations and connection factories?
4. In so many examples I find that ActiveMQ-specific API is being used for
connecting and setting up. Isn't it a 'bad thing' for a JMS compliant server
to do?

5. Most importantly, can somebody point me to some documentation which
explains the basic terminology and concepts specific to ActiveMQ. I
encountered many dos but they describe 'basic messaging terminology' not
ActiveMq architecture/concepts.
