Hi Mike, yes it is. Take a look at StompTest for some examples (http://svn.apache.org/viewvc/activemq/trunk/activemq-core/src/test/java/org/apache/activemq/transport/stomp/StompTest.java?view=markup), tests like (testTransformationSendJSONMap() and similar).
