SOLVED! (or so it seems :-)) As I said, all messages were the same except for the two-digit number at the end. Of course, there is only 100 numbers with two digits so naturally there were duplicated messages - and this was the main problem. As soon as I've set the connection's AcknowledgementMode to DupsOkAcknowledge the problem disappeared.
