Hi Tim,

I managed to build and run:

test-integration/ simple_producer example for version 2.2
test-integration                  example for version 3.0.1

The simple_producer (version 3.0.1) freezes during runtime. I suppose it has 
something to do with the fact I couldn't run ./autogen.sh with the old libs of 
autoconf, automake and libtool.
