Hi there,
assuming that you have posted the error message verbatim it seems that
you have
a reference to "hostname" in your configuration. That should be
replaced with a real
DNS name or IP address.
Hope that helps

Hi ActiveMQ Fellas ..
I am new to this [Excellent] Messaging System.
I have Downloaded ActiveMQ 5.1[binary,src],have Activated Admin
Console[Tracking], [on J2SE [Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment
(build
1.6.0_02-b05)]].
Following are my queries :
1. When i run Producer[Test example ant producer],its maximum
limit is
to
produce 2000messages in 4secs.
a)What is maximum limit of producing messages where target is an
queue.
ANALYSED : I have seen that after running same producer
pprocess
for
two-three times,which out enabling consumer,It produces 2000 at
first
time,750 at second time,865 at third time n gets hallted.
Is it issue of maximum messages a producer can produce to put
it in
queue.
b)Consumer Process : When consumer is up,it do not fetch same
number
of
messages produced,May be less somtimes n sometimes 10 or 20 more
messages
:( .
c) Want to monitor total memory usage,Cpu utilization,Queue
tracking.So i
think JConsole is the answer. Is it right? What is the way to
track the
target queue [Messaging Space] where Message transaction is
going on?
d)For memory utilization by activeMQ,im tracking thru top
command of
Linux.When Producer/Consumer run,java processes takes 20-30% of
CPU.Have
i analysed right.
Please revert back.Please Help!!
[Thorogh study n experience on activeMQ's is my main target]
