ServiceMix distribution includes ActiveMQ and Camel, while the ActiveMQ distribution includes Camel. The ServiceMix Kernel is an enhanced OSGi based runtime that does not include the JBI layer, ActiveMQ or Camel, but they can be very easily deployed on to it.
