ERROR: SET AUTOCOMMIT TO OFF is no longer supported postgresql 8.1

Hello,
  
   I am using Postgresql 8.1 with postgresql-8.1-409.jdbc3.jar for handling
jdbcmessagepersistence.
but when i start the broker using the following configuration the following
error occurs

activemq.xml

 <persistenceAdapter>
        <journaledJDBC journalLogFiles="5"
dataDirectory="../persistencedata" dataSource="#postgres-ds"/>
   
    </persistenceAdapter>
