This is because IONA controls the release of the Fuse suite of
components whereas the ActiveMQ community controls the release of
ActiveMQ. Like most open source projects out there, ActiveMQ will be
released when it's deemed to be ready by the community.

If you are interested in seeing ActiveMQ be released sooner, I
*highly* encourage you to get involved in the testing of the release
candidates that have been made available are discussed on the ActiveMQ
dev mailing list.
