I figured it out. I had to download the 1.2 version of Geronimo and get some module jars from there.
The Jencks website has a link to the spec jar repository for Geronimo but it appears to be old or something. I had to get the connections and transaction modules from Geronimo along with the EBJ spec for Spring.
