Is the NMS part of AMQ still active?

Most definitely! Incidentally recently there's been quite a bit of
work done to NMS; we've now got reasonable support for Stomp in there
as well as ActiveMQ/OpenWire - also most of the code is now there for
the MSMQ provider too.

I can see the website at
http://activemq.apache.org/nms.html, but the links to the source repo,

The source link works for me...
http://activemq.apache.org/nms/source.html

along with the 2 links to show the source on that page
e.g.
https://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/activemq/activemq-dotnet/trunk/

build
instructions

the building page was borked (since we moved the NMS documentation to
its own wiki we never quite got this one copied across). All the
documentation was embedded within the activemq site so we tried moving
it across and it looks like we forgot this page.

I've fixed this one now so it should refresh within an hour or so, in
the mean time here's the current wiki page...
http://cwiki.apache.org/NMS/building.html

and installation guides all seem to be missing or wrong. Is
anyone using it?

Yes, quite a few folks use it. We do need to create a release; am
hoping once 4.1.1 is out we can get a release of NMS done ASAP.
