Well, the problem now is that if I remove that param from the web.xml file, it
complains about it :

In struts.xml I put :
<constant name="struts.convention.action.packages"
value="com.eni.dvtejb.clientStruts2.action" />
Any idea ? You also removed it from the web.xml file ?

I downloaded and checked also with 5.1 - no problems spotted

You have to define it like this:
<constant name="struts.convention.action.packages"
value="com.eni.dvtejb.clientStruts2.action" />
