The future of the dojo plugin

Hi all,

   What's the future of the dojo plugin for Struts2?  We're starting to 
port an existing web app from Struts1 to Struts2, and one of the 
features which was very appealing in Struts2 was the dojo plugin.  Our 
web app doesn't do anything too fancy, but we're planning on making 
heavy use of tabbed panels, remote div loading, and the sx:bind tag.  It 
seems though that the dojo plugin is deprecated, and maybe this isn't a 
good technology to start using now, given that we have a choice.

   Are other people moving away from dojo?  Is there any other ajax 
library that integrates particularly nicely which Struts2 that we should 
check out?
