There are a number of different ways to do what you want. If you are just looking to be able to change a few buttons, I don't know if I would add the complexity of a templating framework. However, if you have the time and want to learn something that is likely to be very useful on future projects, then I would suggest learning how to use Sitemesh. Sitemesh can help you to create a fully themeable application.
