Sorry, what does AFAICT mean? :-)
I'm running Tomcat 6.0.16. No, it doesn't work with default stack.
Any other ideas?

it's not getting that far?
I'm unable to reproduce this under TC 5.5.25/TC 6.0, but I also
don't have your interceptor stack. Other than that I'm using your
code, with reasonable assumptions made for what wasn't included.
Does it work with the default stack?
