And you made sure the jar was correctly included in the classpath, etc. ?
2)iam not using any struts.properties file where we configure url extension as .action so in action iam giving HelloWorld.action. other helloworld examples are working fine 4 me but when i start developing some ui then iam facing this problem
Have you tried modifying some of the examples downloadable from the Struts website? Did it throw an NPE too?
3)h1 tag is ok as it is just html tag and tried by inserting inside html nothing affected.Still iam facing same problem.
