Some servers provide a mechanism for watching specific files for changes and reloading the webapp if they do. For instance, recent versions of Apache Tomcat (check your docs for older versions) support a <WatchedResource> element in the webapp deployment descriptor (context.xml) for this kind of thing. See http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/config/context.html for details on Apache Tomcat 5.5. - -chris -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.7 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFGOP1z9CaO5/Lv0PARAhImAJ4w53Dj5nMiwZS1YTA+zvbu8FCAlACeN3Rn M6Ta4UN90957ckoJlFUvgTI= =4kRT -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
