There is a Spring WebFlow plugin available for Struts 2.

I have downloaded and built a new prototype Web application with Struts2.

I used the documentation on the web site and wikis to get up on what the
framework does, how to configure things, and where to fit in the business model
and services required. I ended up purchasing WebWork in Action by Patrick
Lightbody and Jason Carriera. That book is helpful but is already dated
somewhat dated when adopting Struts2.

What is the forecast for new books, articles, or a Road Show (Conferences or
Webinars) explaining the benefits, features, and Best Practices for using
Struts2?

Can you recommend any other resources?

Also, beyond using beyond session variables but short of committing user
input, what is a best practice for holding a conversation with a user using
Struts2? Suppose you have entries from a user that proceed over several pages
of related information but should only be committed to perform some action at a
selected point (submission). In Spring there is something called a plugin
called webflow I believe.

I need to position my colleagues that Struts2 with its support for Dependency
Injection, Pojos, and better testability is the way to go. We need to select a
Framework going forward that can take advantage of JSF, Ajax, and interfaces
supporting smartphones.
