Struts 2 can use JSF components, so it's not an either/or decision.
* http://struts.apache.org/2.x/docs/javaserver-faces.html For an enterprise-grade JSF solution, see Apache Shale * http://shale.apache.org/ The direction of Struts 2 is to continue to become the framework that we actually *want* to use to build our own applications. Sometimes that means supporting J2EE technologies, like JavaServer Faces. Sometimes that means creating our own technologies, like Interceptors, the Value Stack, and Taglib Themes. * http://struts.apache.org/2.x/docs/architecture.html I'd say the key features of our roadmap are extensibility, first-class AJAX support, and zero configuration (less XML). -Ted. Can some one say something about the direction of Struts? Can we say it will be replaced by JSF eventually? Is it easy to migrate struts to JSF?
