That depends on how you turned it on. I usually just talk real sweet to it with the lights low and some soft jazz in the background. If you're using automagic validation (validate='true') then you'll have to turn it off and do it manually. If you're already doing it manually you'll have to do it in a different place depending on the value of the submit button (or however you're deciding how to process the form input).
