I didn't even think <set-property> was available on action mappings in 1.1, but maybe I'm not remembering right.
Anyway, my understanding of <set-property> is that it is setting a property on the *ActionMapping*, and *not* on the Action. To use it, you need to subclass ActionMapping and declare that subclass using the className attribute of the action mapping. Frank -- Frank W.
