I can't claim to have read *every* single post to the user list in the
last six years, but, AFAIK, this is the first time *anyone* has ever
claimed the Bile Blog as a source of authoritative comment in a
discussion (as opposed to linking to it for entertainment value :-). 
Can anyone here remember any other case?  Even if it's not the first,
it is still ridiculous enough to be memorialized :-).

Whether or not *you* accomplish that feat is irrelevant to whether
IDEs or useful or not in general.  After all, nearly all of us are
after the 90 case%, not the 10% case.

So when are you going to stop whining about anyone who uses IDEs?  :-)

Or arguing on the basis of "it's almost done, it's gonna be so cool"
software, instead of what already exists?
