Having never used DynaValidatorForm before, I'm not 100% sure what the means for accessing the properties would be. It's clear that getCatalogID() is not going to be defined on DynaValidatorForm as an available method. So I'd try calling getDynaProperty() and if that doesn't work you should research further into how DynaForms operate.
